Flash is under fire–again. The security boss at Facebook, Alex Stamos, recently called for the end of the software platform after Google announced that future versions of Chrome will “intelligently pause” Flash-based content that isn’t part of a website’s “core experience” such as a video ad. A few reasons why Flash should be forgotten: its vulnerability to hackers, its susceptivity to new problems once the old ones have been fixed, and its impact on battery life…to name a few.
