Who Needs Ears When You Can Have Binaural Earphones?

When you listen to audio from a smartphone in a video, it’s usually muffled by the sound of the wind or the busy noise of your surroundings being merged together. Binuaric has found a way to mend that with OpenEars, a pair of 3D audio Bluetooth headphones that record and play back sound just like your ears hear it. As more technology is developed with the 3D experience in mind, e.g. GoPro’s six-camera spherical array, cameras that capture the images are now complemented with headphones that capture the audio. This could revolutionize the way we consume video and soon we won’t settle for any old in-ear headphones.
